Columbia University will work with each Cool Columbia Household for a period of one year to assess your current energy consumption, educate you on the actions you can take to shrink your carbon footprint, and lower your energy bill, and track your progress – all at no cost you.
| WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU |
- Access to your electricity bills for the past year to give us your electricity consumption baseline.(Can be obtained from coned.com)
- To be eligible, you must pay your own electricity bills and have lived in your apartment for at least one year.
- A commitment to work with our staff to develop a customized energy plan.
- A willingness to make small changes in how you live to create a more sustainable environment.
